a genuine enid collins jewel bag, the 1966 flower basket design. a navy micro-check canvas box bag on a wood base, trimmed in white leather with a brass turn-lock and double top handles. the front is a dimensional garden: white enamel daisies, sequin-and-bead blooms, amber and clear rhinestones and green glass leaves rising out of a gold metallic-braid basket, with flower basket hand-painted in green and enid's ec signature at the corner. she stamped the inside copyright 1966 enid collins. these texas-made jewel bags are some of the most collected vintage handbags out there.

please note: fair vintage condition, priced to reflect it. some of the jeweled ornaments are missing, with a few empty settings and spots of old adhesive where elements came off. the white leather handles and trim have surface crackling and edge wear, and the interior lining is stained. the turn-lock works, and most of the jeweled design is present and bright.
