This re-made sweatshirt blends a deep berry base with a flowing appliqué cut from true 60s–early 70s narrow-loom faux-patchwork cotton, the kind of sweet rosebud-and-grid print originally sold in small bolts for aprons, housedresses, and early craft projects. The textile mimics hand-pieced quilting through a printed lattice, a style that surged in the mid-century “heritage craft” revival and helped lay the groundwork for the 70s Americana boom. We reshaped it into soft, organic quilted appliqué panels that curve across the chest for a one-of-one piece with a little retro nostalgia and a lot of modern wearability.
