muir woods became a national monument in 1908, and the redwoods have been the backdrop for a century of california outdoor style since, from 1940s buffalo-check wool and lace-up boots to the shearling coats and broken-in leather jackets of the 1970s. this one smells like a jacket that's seen a few campfires.
