a lovely 1940s bias-cut slip by molla kaye, a mid-century lingerie house known for its lace-bodiced slips and negligees on adjustable metal-slide straps. cream silky fabric is cut on the bias to skim the body, with a banded lace inset at the bust in a crossed, floral pattern, and a wide lace border finishing the hem. metal strap sliders and the lace construction are both period-correct details for the decade.
