the look

a red all-cotton bandana in an open floral format rather than the usual paisley, printed in cream and dark navy. the center is left mostly open, scattered with small six-petal florets and tiny star sprigs on a diagonal grid, framed by a fine scrolling vine and a wide border of tulips, blossoms, and cross-flowers. the corner mark reads all cotton, fast color, rn 13960, with no country-of-origin line, and the all-cotton and fast color wording alongside an early rn number points to the 1950s or 60s, before made-in-usa labeling became standard on bandana corners. one edge is a true woven selvage and the other three are hemmed. the floral vocabulary is a nice departure from the paisley most people picture when they picture a bandana.

please note: two corners have small holes and fraying. it is sold as-is for the early cloth and print, and the wear is shown in the photos.

all bandanas are gently cleaned and pressed. beyond that we let them be, so any fading, softening, or small marks of use stay exactly as they came to us.
