Karakulcha broadtail is a highly prized lamb fur known for its tight, shallow curl and naturally sculptural surface; unlike fuller Persian lamb, broadtail has a matte, refined texture that holds shape while remaining lightweight, favored in the 50s and 60s for clean, architectural silhouettes like this swing coat. The pelts are wool-backed, a traditional midcentury technique used to reinforce delicate skins while adding structure and longevity.
