This re-made sweatshirt starts with a hit of true 60s color in the sweetest way. The floral panel comes from vintage cotton yardage in punchy orchid pink, chartreuse, and lavender, the kind of bright, slightly off-register print that defined midcentury home sewing and summer dresses. We rescued a worn patch of fabric and brought it forward through reverse appliqué, setting the vintage cotton behind a framed opening cut into the sweatshirt, then stitching around the edges for a crisp, graphic finish. The result is soft, lived-in, and joyfully retro without trying too hard.
