traditional folk-style blouse with hand-embroidered floral motifs and dramatic gathered construction. made from a heavy, handspun-feeling linen that gives it a grounded, utilitarian beauty. an easy, timeless piece that works just as well with denim as it does layered into a more romantic wardrobe.

design: heavy off-white handspun linen or linen-blend fabric with visible slub and irregular weave. hand-embroidered wool or cotton yarn floral motifs in gray with red and blue accents. smocked and densely gathered neckline with a split v opening finished in whip stitching. raglan-style sleeves with embroidered shoulder panels. three-quarter length sleeves with cutwork and embroidery at cuffs. no lining. pullover style with no closures.
condition: good: scattered faint marks and small areas of discoloration throughout the fabric, consistent with age and wear. these do not significantly detract from overall appearance. embroidery intact and structurally sound, except for some embroidery coming off on sleeve cuff.
size & fit: no size tag. fits like a modern small to medium with a relaxed, boxy folk fit.
