the look
a classic red paisley cotton bandana in the format most people picture when they think bandana, made in the usa. a scalloped paisley border with open florets at the corners frames a ruled teardrop chain and a center field of small scattered paisley and six-petal flowers, printed in white and black on true red. the corner mark reads 100% cotton, made in u.s.a., rn 13962, with the crafted with pride star that dates it to 1984 or later. bright, even color and the standard four-sided layout make it an easy everyday tie. one selvage edge with three machine hems.
all bandanas are gently cleaned and pressed. beyond that we let them be, so any fading, softening, or small marks of use stay exactly as they came to us.
dating: US RN registered identification numbers began at RN 13670 in 1959, so a printed RN sets the earliest possible date (holder lookup via the FTC RN database); the "Crafted with Pride in U.S.A." mark comes from the Crafted with Pride in U.S.A. Council, founded 1984.
