a lucky little cloud of bats sets the tone on this purple silk scarf: in chinese symbolism the bat (fú) is a homophone for good fortune, so a sky full of them means blessings raining down. around them the print gathers more auspicious motifs, longevity peaches on the branch and porcelain ginger-jar vases, all framed by a neon pink and green greek-key border on lavender and deep purple. it's 100% silk, a big square that knots at the neck, ties in the hair or loops through a bag strap. handmade by museum of shanghai.
