mending is a big part of what we do at vangie, so this one earned a spot on our shelf. sisters nina and sonya montenegro teach visible mending as something to enjoy, not a chore. the book covers darning socks and sweaters, patching worn knees, decorative sashiko, and the small fixes that usually send good clothes to the donation bin: snags, loose buttons, torn pockets.
